Leaf Insect

Leaf insects use camouflage to take on the appearance of a leaf. They do this so accurately that predators often aren't able to distinguish them from real leaves. In some species the edge of the leaf insect's body even has the appearance of bite marks. To further confuse predators, when the leaf insect walks, it rocks back and forth, to mimic a real leaf being blown by the wind.

I once watched a TV programme about leaf insect.

This is a part of the story :

Leaf insect gets the perfect dress in the habitat on top of the tree -

the fake leaf costume in absinthe-green.

By fault it falls to the ground, full of brown leaves.

And suddenly everything shows.

Predators cannot be happier with its attractive colour.

It tries best to hide under the leaves.

But this doesn't help.

So it runs to the gap of stones.

A praying mantis is coming.

.

In this story, it succeeds to back to the trunk, and back to its heaven.

God has given all of us our own prettiest dressing.

It might be wine-red, dodger-blue, light-salmon or forest-green.

We are all beautiful.

But sometimes we are not glad to be beautiful.

"Every sibling around is yellow, yet why should I be grey ?" said ugly duckling.

We fall into the world of brown leaves, and are somehow annoyed with our blessed colour.

We believe we owned the most shameful colour,yet it is in fact the prettiest, the most favorable one.

We are just like colour-blinded - not able to distinguish between.

And the world is going to become monochromatic. We consider this as prefect.

As predators are there, we put off our blessed dressing and put on the other one.

It is for survival. And it is much prettier we thought.

Turn our eyes.

What God promised is He must give us the best rather than good.

What we choose may be good but must not be the best.

Only God know what is the best, as His wisdom is higher than our wisdom.

Our colours are all as pretty as the costume in absinthe-green.

We are already the prettiest by His hands.

Though we may be in the unfamiliar state, we still look great in the gratitude from Him.

God's Grace sometimes is like the honey tree.

We don't know it is there.
We never think of it.

And we cannot imagine it.

Til the sacrifice, we are suddenly amazed by it.
It's so sweet.
It just like the blood of Jesus.

He sacrificed, and we are amazed.

家中的菊，在我們都不在意時悄然開得燦爛。

又有蚤，又忘澆灌，神尚且養活它了。

然 而 我 告 訴 你 們 、 就 是 所 羅 門 極 榮 華 的 時 候 、 他 所 穿 戴 的 、 還 不 如 這 花 一 朵 呢 。

你 們 這 小 信 的 人 哪 、 野 地 裡 的 草 、 今 天 還 在 、 明 天 就 丟 在 爐 裡 、 　 神 還 給 他 這 樣 的 妝 飾 、 何 況 你 們 呢 。

所 以 不 要 憂 慮 、 說 、 喫 甚 麼 、 喝 甚 麼 、 穿 甚 麼 。

這 都 是 外 邦 人 所 求 的 ． 你 們 需 用 的 這 一 切 東 西 、 你 們 的 天 父 是 知 道 的 。

你 們 要 先 求 他 的 國 、 和 他 的 義 這 些 東 西 都 要 加 給 你 們 了 。

所 以 不 要 為 明 天 憂 慮 ． 因 為 明 天 自 有 明 天 的 憂 慮 ． 一 天 的 難 處 一 天 當 就 夠 了 。

林村河旁的一葉清舟，
靜靜地待著，好不踏實。

新開始

零九年的新春，又一個新地方。
標題改什麼，起初以為定名是永久的，本想作「你愛我比這些更深麼？」，卻怕誤會為男女之間的撒嬌。這其實是自聖經中，耶穌三次問門徒彼得的一道問題，意思是相較地上所有事物、榮耀，他是否更愛主。這是零八年從去向未卜至「走上了」時，教會崇拜在查的經文（約翰一書），很有感，就成了路前的立志金句。

至於為何名改了，是因網誌建立的原目的是個人藝術的分享，因見大小各異的繪本、手工創作日誌而心動，所以就一心的開設了。又想將喜愛的事獻給主，剛好於搜索器找到了這首詩歌，名字就這樣得來了。
