Practical approaches against worrying

 If you spend a lot of time worrying about things you can't control, here are six things that can help:

  1. Determine what you can control.
  2. Focus on your influence.
  3. Identify your fears. Create a plan to manage your stress.
  4. Differentiate between ruminating and problem-solving.
    - Hard work and results are not the same.
  5. Develop healthy affirmations.
    - Supervisors / Sponsors, teachers, classmates, PolyU, targeted customers, potential partners, friends
  6. Stay positive.

昨天導師退修會作保姆,帶領小朋友看superbook動畫,其中有一個情節,主角們因為要逃避敵人追趕,要跳上前面的車,可是最後一位主角跳不上,結果很有可能被敵人追上!幸好,有動畫裏的一個人物救了他,以至故事可以說上兩邊正在發生的故事線。


想起生命中的一些經歷,好像發生於一些錯誤上,以致有一些結果不如預期,但是神容許著這些事情的發生。主的計劃沒有錯誤,即使是一些失敗與不如意的經歷,也是上帝安排過的,於是不用再傷心,也可以轉念看這些經歷中也有上帝的美意。
